Cream Cheese Brownies

Anybody else forget they signed up for dessert for the potluck and need to do something on the fly?? This is your recipe!!

Brownie Ingredients

• 1 cup butter (2 sticks)

• 3 cups sugar

• 4 eggs

• 1 tbsp vanilla

• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

• 1 1/2 cups flour

• 1 1/4 tsp salt

• 1 cup chocolate chips

Cream Cheese Layer

• 8 oz softened cream cheese

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 1 egg

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

• Are you ready this is about to get REALLY complicated…

• Preheat your oven to 375 F.

• Mix all your brownie ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

• Once batter is smooth and creamy, set aside.

• Mix together all cream cheese spread ingredients until smooth and set aside.

• Coat your nonstick pan, 8×8 works best, with butter or a spray oil of your choice.

• Pour your brownie batter into your coated pan.

• Pour cream cheese spread over the top.

• Bake on 375 F for 45 minutes.
